Diagnosis:AVNFindings:The following findings can be seen at diffent stages of AVN:Stage I: MRI findings only, normal radiographs and CT Stage II: Osteopenia, osteosclerosis, cysts Stage III: Subchondral radiolucency (cresecent sign) Stage IV: Flattening or collapse of the bone Stage V: Joint space narrowing Stage VI: Joint extensively destroyed Diff Dx:Trauma, steroids, hemoglobinopathies, alcoholism, pancreatitis,Gaucher, radiation therapy |
